Mauricio holds the highest coaching certification in North America, and has been coaching for over 15 years in multiple world renowned organizations.
Working for FC Barcelona and Guelph Soccer for the past five years has allowed him to better understand the needs and development of youth players across South West Ontario, building a solid foundation and presence in the soccer community here.
He has had the great pleasure of instructing and developing hundreds of players in and across the GTA. Mauricio’s former professional experience as a player has given him world travel experience and a widened perspective for the game which is a driving force in his style of coaching.
With many international affiliations in the soccer community, Mauricio has had the great opportunity to be a part of the mentoring and placement of many players who have aspired to pursue a professional career in soccer.
CYFA Academy was developed to offer families within the community a positive environment where they can expect progressive practices and structured programs, to optimize player growth in and out of the soccer field.

Lisa is a graduate of the University of Guelph and University of Toronto and has 19 years experience as a manual therapist. Working at the Health and Performance Centre at the University of Guelph for the past 12 years has allowed her to have a special focus on the treatment of athletic injuries. Her treatment goals are to restore proper movement patterns, strength, balance, and proprioception to get players back to their sport and prevent re-injury.
Lisa is a youth soccer coach as well as a competitive player, and just recently returned from New Zealand with a gold medal from the World Masters Games.
