Just last weekend, at the Premier League U-18, the Canadian-Mexican attacker, Marcelo Flores, scored a dream goal on a well rehearsed free kick against Blackburn on the CUP Semifinal.

Three players were ready to take the free kick few yards away from the edge of the 18 yard box. Two players pretend to shoot – the wall and few defenders moved and this allowed space for the amazing shot to come!

One of the players moved the ball just enough until Flores striking the ball with his right foot sent the ball to the top left at the Blackburn’s net.

Marcelo Flores signed with the Gunners at the beginning of 2019, where his two sisters already played with the club, Tatiana and Silvana, where all of them came from the Guelph Soccer system when Dave Tack was president and Ruben and Mauricio Flores were Directing the programs in our city back in 2011 to 2016.

The three Flores siblings are currently playing for Arsenal and also they are in the Mexican National Teams on their respective age groups, Silvana is currently in Dominican Republic ready to dispute for one of two places given by CONCACAF to qualify for the Women’s U-20 World Cup Costa Rica & Panama 2020.
